Living Happily Ever After

Roses and Thorns

In life, you don’t get to choose when moments of brilliance strike or where you learn your best lessons.

Sometimes, it’s from an unexpected life, as difficult as it may be. And sometimes, it may come in the form of a cartoon.

Here’s a thought from Ziggy. (Anyone remember him?)

“You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses”

To me, THAT is the unexpected life: thorns and roses; pain and joy; loss and hope; a nightmare and a “happily ever after.”

It’s all in how you look at it and what you choose to do with it.

The unexpected life.
